My elder sister saw a photo of it in progress and said, “I want this mandala.” …So this is my sister’s mandala.
Life brings many things. There had long been friction between my sister and me. Inside me was a girl always compared with her and found lacking. I found my inner child and saw myself as I was when small.
Drawing while remembering how, as a child, I picked Chinese milk vetch, horsetails and water dropwort without a thought in the spring fields, I feel warm and happy…
