The Story of the Mandala

A work from April 2025. That year the cherry blossoms lasted long, and I savoured them to the full.

The blossoms fall, but the cherry tree is there all year… its flowers fall, it turns to leaf, sheds in autumn, passes through winter, and blooms again in spring to delight us… I wanted to draw that tree, to express the soft yet powerful energy of the cherry.

I can hardly say that I have managed to draw it fully as I am now…

But I mean to try again.

I will prepare myself and gather many experiences, until I am equal to the cherry’s energy.
