The Story of the Mandala
A work from November 2024. “Essays in Idleness” asks: “Are we to look at cherry blossoms only in full bloom, and the moon only when it is cloudless?” It expresses a spirit that cherishes every step of life — birth, ripening and death — not only the blossoms at their peak or the full moon.
On the eve of the Age of Air, I finished it thinking of the fragility and the universality of life, its gentleness and its intensity…
In the Age of Air, keeping my centre within myself, riding the wind, aiming with soul friends for peace and calm in this world — feet on the ground, I will live, letting my own flower bloom…
From “Today’s Message”Let your own flower bloom — the one no one else can…
Artist’s Notes
The flower within me… It is a one-of-a-kind radiance… Releasing that radiance into the world, making life shine brightly…
