Nearly two years have passed since I left teaching… Looking back, I am someone the self of two years ago could never have imagined… I did not want to say “I am too old now”, or “I have no confidence, so I cannot”. I did not want to place a limit on myself…

I think everyone hesitates, stops, and lives their own life as fully as they can… I think that, in our very being, we are all alone… And yet it is because we all taste that solitude that we choose the words we offer one another, draw close, and become kind…

The time we feel most alone is the time we can change… Rather than distracting ourselves from solitude with something easy, we go inside and dig down into what we truly want, what we truly wish to do… And when we find it, I believe we meet the people we need and are led to the places we need. Towards a new world…
