Source of Fluctuation

A work that pairs with the earlier “Generation of Fluctuation.” Waiting for the lines and dots to appear in the golden paper fibres… They appear and disappear, appear and disappear again… Where to stop the stippling, I asked the “Source of Fluctuation” itself.

Artist’s Notes

“Source of Fluctuation”, a work that pairs with the earlier “Generation of Fluctuation.” Drawn on golden paper and presented in an acrylic box.

Waiting for the lines and dots to appear in the golden paper fibres… They appear and disappear, appear and disappear again…

The lines and dots hold many world-lines; which to choose is free, and yet inevitable… I simply synchronise with my breathing and move my hand… Where to stop the stippling, I asked the “Source of Fluctuation” itself…

The Tree of Life is life extending from primal consciousness into this world... That life appears and fades, fades and appears... Seeking what lies beyond that endless cycle of reincarnation... What do you see in this “fluctuation”?
